The music industry is about who you know. And it starts very early. If you have the chance to meet like-minded individuals through an app made for the creation of music, why would you not take it? Introducing Treble, the app for musical connections.
The app has been doing artist showcases around New York City since mid-November, and it certainly seems like a good time. Treble Tuesdays give shine to local artists by giving them a platform that has a freedom of art and expression. The performances really give a communal feel just like the app. Treble has done its fair share of helping the development of acts as well. Take upcoming latin queer artist Baby Yors for example. The erratic performer is making waves with the help of others.
The last Treble Tuesday show will be tonight at Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn. The acts include Riz La Vie, Sacred Gzz, ORG, SoulGroupUniverse, Latasha Alcindor, and Meridan Lights. The event will be hosted by ZiG and have a DJ set by BSTN.
Holyrad Studio, the director of the Baby Yors piece, will be doing photography and videography for the event. The bar will be curated by Jägermeister, serving special cocktails inspired by and named after the music of the featured performers. The proceeds will be given to the musicians.
