“Thor: Ragnarok” actress Tessa Thomspon is set to star in Sony’s ‘Men In Black’ spinoff.
Thompson is in talks to join her Thor co-star Chris Hemsworth for the reboot of the blockbuster classic. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Thompson and Hemsworth will take on new characters created for the spinoff, meaning this won’t be a hard reboot where they play new versions of Agents K and J.
F. Gary Gray, who previously helmed “Straight Outta Compton” and “The Fate of the Furious,” is on board to direct. Steven Spielberg is also onboard as an executive producer. The Men in Black spinoff is set to come out June 14, 2019.
Tessa Thomspon is surely keeping busy these days! She can be seen next in HBO’s second season of “Westworld” as well as “Creed 2.” She also stars alongside Lakeith Stanfield in the Sundance pic “Sorry to Bother You.”
