Keyshia Cole is known for making her songs about love and heartbreak. In her new music video “You” directed by Benny Boom it’s all about getting revenge on her cheating boyfriend. Cole teams up with Remy Ma and French Montana for her new single.
“Remy is my girl,” Keyshia told Rap-Up.com. “That’s my ace there. She’s been supportive during this process and I told her I couldn’t do this album without her. French is the homie, so one call, he got on the record, and he did it the next day…They’re both perfect for this particular song and they both thought the same.”
In the video, Cole had her boyfriend locked in the closet, as she plays clueless to the detectives about his whereabouts.
She sings “You picked the wrong one, baby. You just played me for the last time…I’m done dealing with you.”
Keyshia Cole is set to release her forthcoming album, 1111 Reset.
