The two met in 2021 on the set of Marvel’s “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” in which Majors played Kang.
No signs of remorse
Assistant District Attorney Kelli Galloway argued for a sentence of violence counseling for Majors. However, instead of accepting his actions, Majors launched a “high-powered PR campaign” that included a nationally televised interview. Galloway criticized Majors for openly criticizing the court proceedings.
After his final sentencing, Majors reportedly left the courthouse with his girlfriend, Meagan Good, who has been supporting him throughout the case. The actor did not make any statements or speak to reporters. According to reports, his lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, reportedly stated that the actor did not wish to make any public statements that Jabbari may use against him in the civil suit she has filed against him.
Majors, she noted, is “committed to growing as a person and will attend any court-mandated programs with an open heart, despite his innocence and plans to appeal. He’s lost his whole career,” Chaudhry said in court. “This has been the most challenging year of his life,” she noted.

Marvel Studios dropped Majors in December 2023. He would’ve played the role of Kang the Conqueror, a pivotal role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Majors had previously starred in “The Last Black Man in San Francisco,” his breakthrough role. He also received an Emmy nomination for his role in the HBO horror series “Lovecraft Country” and played the antagonist in the blockbuster movie “Creed III.”
