The 1974 movie Foxy Brown, is headed to television, Hulu specifically, with a TV series adaptation starring Meagan Good in the iconic role.
Taking on the Foxy role has been something that Meagan says she has always wanted to do. She will also serve as a producer on the series, with her husband, executive producer Devon Franklin via Franklin Entertainment. The series also snagged Malcolm Spellman, co-executive producer of Empire and Ben Watkins, Hand of God creator writing the script. Drew Comins of Flame will serve as co-executive producer.

The 1974 movie, written and directed by Jack Hill, followed Foxy Brown (Pam Grier) as she sought revenge for the murder of her boyfriend by a drug syndicate. The film was a box-office success and has had a lasting legacy. Beyonce and Eddie Griffen payed homage in their films, Beyonce’s Foxxy Cleopatra character in Austin Power in Goldmember and the Undercover Brother film featuring Eddie Griffin.
