Post game interviews are always great, especially when you had an awesome performance. But they are especially wonderful when athletes have a little blunder, or major blunder in Mohammed Anas’ case.
After being named “man of the march”, Anas who plays soccer for South African team ‘Free State Stars’ had a post game interview. It started off like another interview. Anas thanked his fans and God. But then in a hilarious turn of events, Anas blurted out, “Thank you for this, I appreciate my fans. My wife and girlfriend…I mean my wife, sorry to say,” he quickly added.
As if he could tell he was digging a hole for himself, he quickly relayed a message to his wife saying “I’m so sorry…I love you so much, I love you so much from my heart!”
Since his mistake, Anas has gone on to say that he calls his daughter “girlfriend” and that’s who he was referring to. This makes us give him a major side eye, but what do you think?
