President Trump has announced his proposed budget. The official plan will be released this coming Tuesday. The news has some jumping for joy, while others may be in deep trouble if it passes.
From what we know so far, the $4.1 trillion he wants to divvy up would largely ignore welfare programs. Medicaid and food stamps would be on the cutting board, and some big bucks would instead focus on retirement programs and the military. Trump intends to spend billions in these areas, according to White House summary documents. $3.6 trillion total is planned to be cut from benefit programs in the next 10 years, as well as domestic agencies.
However, for those who are worried about these implementations, have no fear. Trump’s proposal seems similar to a previous plan that was turned away by Republicans back in March.
What do you think about this possible budget?
