The event will bring together music lovers from around the world to Praia da Rocha beach in Portimão, Portugal.
A Festival for the Culture
Slated for July 9 through July 11, this festival promises to be another big moment for the global African music scene. Leading the way is Burna Boy, the African Giant himself. Alongside him is the enchanting Tems, ready to bless us with her soulful vocals. Adding even more groove to the mix, Afro Nation has further announced a fresh wave of headliners. The lineup includes globetrotting pop star Ayra Starr, Franglish, Gabzy, Tiakola, and Inoss’B.
The Piano People stage will deliver an Amapiano takeover featuring Scorpion Kings and DBN Gogo, alongside Vigro Deep, Mörda, Oskido, KMAT, Shakes & Les, and Rosey Gold.
Second Wave of Lineup Announcements
If that wasn’t enough, Afro Nation has also added the innovative Ghanaian star Amaarae. South Africa’s amapiano queen Uncle Waffles is also on the list. Rising talents like June Freedom, Qing Madi, Odeal, Naza, Young Stunna, and Nkosazana Daughter are included as well. The artists add to an already iconic bill.
