The temperatures are getting warmer! That means it’s time to bring out the Daisy Dukes, sundresses, and shades! If you’ve been cooped up all winter, get ready to let loose! Here are eight fun activities you can do this spring.
1. Go to a music festival.
For spring activities, consider going to a music festival like the Roots Picnic, Dreamville, or Coachella. Go by yourself or with your best friend(s)! Either way, you’ll be listening to good music and enjoying the vibes while you’re there.
2. Get ready for some Spring cleaning!
Cleaning might seem boring to some, but spring cleaning can be fun and stress-relieving. Start off with removing small things like old documents then work your way up! If you have trouble figuring out how to organize your space after cleaning, Pinterest has plenty of examples to help you out.
3. Go on a picnic!
Grab your favorite snacks, fruits, wine, whatever else you like, and relax. Consider bringing your favorite book or magazine to keep you off your phone as well. Take this time to sit back and reminisce on all of the good times.
4. Get out of town (or the country)!
Get out of town LITERALLY! Take a few days (or weeks) to explore a new state, city, or country! Try new restaurants, clubs, or museums while you’re at it. Heck, swim through the crystal clear waters of Jamaica. You deserve to be on someone’s beach, Queen!
5. Visit a botanical garden.
Flowers will be blooming around this time, so why not take a trip to witness the progress? Visit your nearest botanical garden to see the prettiest flowers and plants in bloom. Botanical gardens also make a great background for an impromptu photo shoot.
6. Go to an amusement park.
Most amusement parks open around mid-March-early April. Consider going to the nearest amusement park, and have a blast. While you’re there, treat yourself to some delicious snacks and live entertainment. Some amusement parks will even have an early bird ticket sale, so get on it while you can!
7. Volunteer at an animal shelter.
Who doesn’t love being surrounded by cute animals? Start your spring off with some fun by volunteering at your local animal shelter. Make sure to bring your comfiest clothes and shoes for a day of cuteness and adventure (and maybe a little bit of poop).
8. Take a hike!
Before it gets too hot, go hiking this spring. It’ll be refreshing to immerse yourself in nature and appreciate its beauty. Bring a friend or two for another level of fun while you’re hiking.
