Since the news of her new album being available months ago, the North Cali singer had her fans actively seeking a peep at her sound.
Kehlani told us on Twitter what we should expect from her new album.
And why we were going to absolutely love it.
First, Kehlani has really reclaimed, who she is an artist and we can see just how multilayered she really is.
For months she has been teasing us with small tidbits into her album.
She has released, RZY, Distraction, Advice and more recently, Do U Dirty.
But of course she has more to give.
We can be sure to see some familiar songs, and some new ones that make up the allusive sounds of this album.
While Kehlani is pretty consistent with her R&B vibes, as a listener it’s really great to see an artist evolve within her own voice as an artist.
We loved this album. ✨❤️
Kehlani has this way with being completely relatable and vulnerable to her fans.
For one, Intro by Reyna Biddy really engages you; it makes you want to take a step back and listen to what she has to say.
Yet, our favorite song has to be Piece of Mind.
You can never really lose who you are; you’re always searching for that way back.
And sometimes not having the answers isn’t a bad thing.
Uniquely, Kehlani made her album one worth listening to.
As a result, this California native has really brought to life her emotions with this long-awaited album.
