Another Friday, another 4:44 visual from Jay Z. This time around, Jay is treating us to a video for “Adnis.” Directed by Mark Romanek and starring Mahershala Ali and Danny Glover.
In the black-and-white clip, Mahershala plays a boxer, training at times by himself and other times with Danny.
“Adnis” was one of the first songs we heard from 4:44 — thanks to a few commercials that Jay-Z aired before the album was released. Unfortunately for fans, the song wasn’t included on the digital version of the album. “Adnis” only appears on the physical edition.
