Yara Shahidi Received a College Recommendation from Michelle Obama!

Yara Shahidi continues to embody BLACK GIRL MAGIC! Receiving just about the greatest college co sign anyone could get, from our favorite first lady.

The Black-ish star recently told W Magazine that former First Lady Michelle Obama wrote her a college recommendation letter.

“She is very amazing and such a supporter, which is something very surreal to say,” Shahidi told the publication. She’s supposedly applying to Obama’s alma mater Harvard, among other top-line schools.

Malia Obama relayed that she’s going to be going to Harvard and plans on taking a gap year before going to school. Shahidi reportedly plans to do the same and will doing a double major in African-American Studies and Sociology.
