Last summer couture street-wear phenomenon showcased its Spring 2017 collection at Paris Fashion Week. The fashion line made its versatility known with collaborations featuring 18 other designers ranging from Champion to Juicy Couture. However, it is the denim wear by Vetements X Levi’s that seems to be leaving a lasting impression.
The fashion line features a new take on Levi’s classic denim jackets and jeans. Vetements’ unconventionality mixed with Levi’s authenticity resulted in pure street-wear magic. The edgy, but chic denim series includes a variety of looks including jeans with full front-to-back zippers and trucker jackets with Vetements’ perfectly asymmetrical details.
Other brands such as Gosha Rubchinskiy and Off-White are also embracing the modern Levi’s trend.
