In the second iteration of Golf le Fleur, nicknamed GLF, Tyler the Creator has collaborated with Converse. He designed the GLF 2.0 – a classic sneaker in either green or orange colorways.
In a promo video said to be directed by the multi-hyphenate rapper, producer, designer, and perfumer, a chef whips up a supposed fresh catch of the day and wows critics with the proverbial taste. Tyler’s visuals and creative concepts scream high fashion.
This drop comes after Golf le Fleur’s debut pop-up shop in Malibu and initial drop which featured French Waltz – a refreshing fragrance crafted by Tyler. The collection included pastel nail polishes selected and modeled by Tyler. The custom trunks were pieces featured in the Call Me If You Get Lost tour and album art. To round off the intial drop, there was limited apparel ranging from polos to furry hats.
Tyler has had a huge impact on the fashion scene, even as far back as his Odd Future/Wolf Gang days. It’s exciting to see him step into the fashion industry even further.
