We love a good collaboration here at MEFeater. This time, Timberland and Opening Ceremony have joined forces to release a version of the Convenience Boot. ‘Tis the season!
Timberland x Opening Ceremony Convenience Boot
Note: the newly released collection is available for both men and women! The two brands collaborated to release an NYC inspired version of Timberland’s Convenience Boot. An OC exclusive since ’09, it’s available in the colors pink, black, white and wheat. Available to shop now, the nubuck leather boot, which is water-resistant too, is shearling lined and has wide laces that are elasticated. The perfect footwear for this fall/winter season, wouldn’t you agree?
The editorial by Christelle de Castro featured DJs Kim Foxman, Nicole Albino, Total Freedom (Ashland Mines,) and Anthony Dicapua (Dicap.) The inspiration behind the project took into account OC’s heritage i.e. the New York underground and street style; a representative of both brands. Upon the release, Opening Ceremony made a statement: “Music and nightlife have long been part of Opening Ceremony’s DNA, and the DJs [selection is] part of our extended family, playing our parties, attending our fashion shows, and shopping at our stores…Each of them (the DJs) cultivates a totally original sound which has made a mark on downtown New York.”
