Another day, another celebrity relationship development. Summer Walker has never been shy about her relationship status, and she’s not going to start now! While celebrating her birthday on April 11, 2024, the singer hard-launched her new man, Coop Cashington.
Immediately, the post sparked social media conversations about who Summer Walker’s new boyfriend could be. While the singer did not reveal much information about Cashington, the internet did some digging.
For her 28th birthday, Walker traveled to Mexico City to celebrate. During her trip, she posted many photos to Instagram, including one of herself and an unidentified man. Shortly after she posted, her new man took to Facebook to wish her a happy birthday. He made several posts stating that Walker is “the love of his life” and that he “finally knows what true love looks like.”
However, the relationship has seemingly gone south very quickly.

In now-deleted pictures, Walker posed with her new beau in front of a waterfall in Mexico. Almost immediately after Walker posted the photos, The Shade Room identified the man as Cashington. After the publication released the information, allegations of sexual harassment and abuse surfaced.
Multiple women took to social media to share their experiences with Cashington, detailing actions of revenge porn. Some of the allegations were made in 2021, before his relationship with the mother of three.
According to The Shade Room, X user Ana (@AnaSofaKingCoo) stated that Cashington “exposed” her in 2015 by releasing private photos. The violation allegedly came after she told Cashington she no longer wanted to talk to him. Her tweets are now protected.
The X user then tagged another young lady, who stated that she had similar experiences. The X user, who goes by Miss B Nasty, confirmed Ana’s experiences and added that Cashington is “crazy” and has “serious issues.” Her account is currently restricted. The Shade Room also shared that an unnamed model reported that Walker’s new boyfriend verbally abused her.
As mentioned, the “Session 32” singer has since removed the photos of her and Cashington in Mexico. She has not released a public statement regarding the relationship or the allegations. As of this writing, Cashington has not removed any posts from his social media pages or posted anything new. It is unclear if the couple is still together.

Since rising to fame, Walker has been involved in a few high-profile relationships. She and producer London on Da Track, aka London Holmes, debuted their relationship in 2019. Throughout their two-year-long romance, the couple broke up and reconciled several times. Often, their arguments spilled over to social media, revealing that the producer cheated on Walker.
The two broke up officially in 2021, shortly after their daughter was born. Her second studio album, “Still Over It,” was inspired by the relationship.
In November 2021, the “Come Thru” singer announced a new relationship with aspiring rapper Larry, aka LVRD Pharaoh, per Bleu magazine. In June 2022, the couple announced their pregnancy but broke up before their twins were born in December 2022. Although their relationship did not work out, in November 2022, the singer shared that they co-parent well.
Walker was seemingly single for a few months until she popped out with actor and rapper Lil Meech in April 2023. The couple attempted to keep the relationship private, but fans discovered that the “BMF” actor was the mystery man. Unfortunately, the romance did not last. The two broke up in July 2023, after three months of dating.
Sadly, it wasn’t long before cheating rumors started to blossom. In August 2024, The Shade Room reported that Lil Meech was spotted entering the apartment of an unidentified woman. In addition, the outlet shared that this video went viral a day after Walker shared breakup posts on social media. Meech claimed the young lady was his cousin; however, the couple did not reconcile.
Walker has had her share of failed relationships. However, she bounces back every time. She channels her pain and triumphs into her music, making her one of this generation’s best R&B singers! So, only time will tell Walker and Cashington’s love story.
