The Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit aka the Met Gala, is a black-tie extravagant event held annually on the first Monday of May. The event is held to raise funds for the Costume Institute, the only one of MET’s departments that funds itself. But how much does a MET ticket cost?
According to the New York Times, the invite-only event tickets cost $30,000 and tables are $275,000. Fewer than 600 people will attend this year and social media posting is not allowed once guests get off the red carpet. The Queen of Vogue, Anna Wintour is said to be the one that has to personally approve every guest who wishes to attend.
Now that you know the price, would you attend Next Year’s Met Gala?
