The collection includes co-branded apparel and accessories from hoodies to backpacks and, of course, the iconic boots. With Pharrell Williams at the helm of Louis Vuitton, he was able to add some Parisian flair to the popular 6-inch boots. Details surrounding the stylish boots include a laser-etched Louis Vuitton logo on the front tongue and the signature monogram on the lateral heel. The Louis Vuitton x Timberland boots are constructed out of premium Italian nubuck leather and feature the structure of the brand’s storied silhouettes. This collaboration goes beyond the infamous boot and effortlessly blends the upper-class sophistication of Louis Vuitton with the rugged and outdoorsy style of Timberlands.

The Timberland boot has been a staple in hip-hop for decades now. The shoe has been worn by industry rappers, singers, models, and more, from Aaliyah and Rihanna to Kanye West and Jennifer Lopez.
The Louis Vuitton x Timberland collection started preorders on July 18 and was released globally on Aug. 8, and the price ranges from $2,400 to $2,900. The shoe only has two designs but comes in various designs. Each shoe provides optimal comfort with padded collars and a soft footbed. The boots offer fashion and durability, as they are waterproof and have a rubber lug outsole. They are very versatile as they are fit to sustain colder weather and heavy-duty conditions. They will also keep you warm due to their down-free PrimalLoft insulation. Both of the LV 6 boots arrive in the Black or wheat colorways.

The release also includes an “exceptional edition” pair limited to 50 pieces of the 6-inch ankle boots monogrammed with the classic signature Louis Vuitton pattern. The highly coveted boots, made with premium Italian leather, feature a customized rubber lug outsole and 18-carat gold hardware. On the tongue, a phrase reads, “The sun is shining on us.” This was the exact phrase he stated before his first show as the new creative lead for Louis Vuitton. The boots are priced at over $80,000 and arrive in a leather and plexiglass box.
The Timberland range is part of Pharrell’s workwear collection, which debuted at his January 2024 Fall/Winter Men’s show. The line explores the American Western origins of workwear through the eyes of Louis Vuitton.
This capsule collection is one for the books. We can expect this design to be a hot boot worn by the most fashionable celebs and influencers this season. Pharrell is elevating Louis Vuitton in more ways than one in his position as the Men’s Creative Director, and we can’t wait to see more.
