Lori Harvey and the Double Standards of Misogynist Men

Over the past week, Twitter has been in an uproar of Lori’s Harvey’s recent breakup. After a year, Michael B. Jordan and Lori called it quits. It’s rumored Lori declined Michael’s proposal. The Twitter-sphere has been in shambles since, with many calling Lori toxic and even throwing around misogynist slurs.

Lori Harvey is doing exactly what a single, wealthy, woman wants to do: travel the world, explore her sexuality and her dating life, and build her brand.

Why should women be held to a different standard than men? Single women are expected to act like “wives-in-training” while men get by acting as they please with little to no accountability.

Lori’s former beauxs (Michael B. Jordan, Future, etc.) have had the freedom to date freely and fruitfully without being called hoes or ”ran-through”. But Lori can’t do the same? When will the double standards end?
