Most touchingly, Naomi Campbell made a wonderful tribute to her “papa” and mentor, Azzedine Alaïa, who passed away recently. “There is no man who understood me like him, or who saw me in the way that he did. Always when I was with him he would make me feel like my 16-year-old self – and without him, I wouldn’t be the woman I am today,” she said.
