Tap into these new drops that need to make their way into your music library.
1. Megan Thee Stallion – Whenever
Megan Thee Stallion is back with another banger—sonically and visually—with her new single, “Whenever.” The song’s release comes right on the heels of her Coachella performance, where the rapper took the stage both weekends, making her one of the most talked-about acts of the festival. In the track, the H-Town Hottie samples Ms. Cherry’s “It’s Whatever,” delivering a powerful anthem as only Megan Thee Stallion can. The video is a chaotic visual delight, featuring scenes of Megan posing in a fish tank, twisting herself into contortions on top of a receptionist desk, and twerking in the desert. Thee Stallion addresses all her haters, holding nothing back as she raps over the beat. This marks the artist’s first music release since October 2024, and it’s safe to say—she did not disappoint. If this is any indication of what her next album, MEGAN: ACT III, is going to sound like, we need it now!
2. Destin Conrad – Love on Digital
Destin Conrad has arrived with his debut album, Love on Digital, and we can already say it’s a summer staple. Conrad breezes onto the R&B scene with a hypnotic project that delivers all the suave and sexy vibes. With Love on Digital, the crooner offers standout tracks like “Bad B*tches,” “The Last Time,” and “Soft Side.” The album includes features from industry heavyweights such as Kehlani, Lil Nas X, Teezo Touchdown, Cari, and serpentwithfeet. Conrad has crafted a melodic project that transports listeners to a space where all you want to do is be outside this summer. In an Instagram post, he shared that he wanted his first full-length album to be “fun n lighthearted.” His single “Bad B*tches” featuring Kehlani is already going viral on social media and is shaping up to be a summer favorite.
3. Coco Jones- Why Not More
Coco Jones proves why she is a force with her debut album, Why Not More. The R&B songstress’s first long-form project is the culmination of hard work and firmly cements Jones as an artist who’s here to stay. The 14-track album showcases Coco’s maturity and fearlessness in her sound. The Bel-Air star explores a range of styles on Why Not More, delivering standout tracks like the Britney Spears-inspired hit “Taste,” the sultry “On Sight,” and the rich, soulful ballad “Other Side of Love.” Every track on Coco’s new album deserves a spot on your playlist. The singer is set to embark on a world tour in May, hitting all the major cities across the U.S. and overseas.
4. Flo Milli Ft. T-Pain – Gripper
Alabama’s very own Flo Milli has returned has returned with another hit that we’ll be blasting all summer. Gripper samples T-Pain’s iconic “I’m N Luv (Wit a Stripper)” and also features the legendary Florida artist himself. The track brings everything we loved from T-Pain’s original—this time from the female perspective. The rapper and new mother first teased the song during a performance on On the Radar. Gripper expertly blends genres and exudes that early 2000s sound that hits all the right nostalgic notes.
5. Don Toliver Ft. Doja Cat – Lose My Mind
Don Toliver and Doja Cat join forces for a fun track that’s perfect for summer. Lose My Mind will appear on the soundtrack for the upcoming sports action film F1, starring Damson Idris, Lewis Hamilton, and Simone Ashley. The track was released alongside a music video that shows Don and Doja suiting up for their own high-speed race. Toliver’s smooth vocals combined with Doja’s witty bars make for the perfect match.
