Cardi B has now joined the ranks of so many other successful artists, earning her first spot on the Billboard 100 charts with “Bodak Yellow”.
The single made its debut on the chart at #85 based on combined activity from sales, streams and radio airplay. Cardi B, the Bronx native, is surrounded by rap superstars with Yo Gotti’s “Rake It Up,” featuring Nicki Minaj at #78; J Balvin and Willy William‘s “Mi Gente” at #70; Tyler The Creator’s “Who Dat Boy” at #87; and Future’s “Extra Luv,” featuring YG at #99.
Earlier this year Cardi was nominated for the 2017 BET’s Best New Artist and Best Female Hip-Hop Artist Awards. She also gave a stellar performance at the BET Experience and then later stunned the crowd with her performance at the BET Awards After-Party.
