#WALKAMILESINMYSHOES, A CAPSULE COLLECTION
Last week, The Elbas shared their new project, #walkamilesinmyshoes, in collaboration with French designer, Christian Louboutin. They have been friends for a while. Due to this fact, they decided to put their friendship and values together in order to create #WalkAMileInMyShoes. This is a capsule collection design by Sabrina & Idris Elba with Christian Louboutin. Its’ aim is “to celebrate empathy and hope », plus, social injustices. 100% TO CHARITABLE ORGANISATIONS
This action will give a spotlight on injustices projects and victims. In addition, it will support organizations that devote to people who need help.
Indeed, 100% of the benefits will be donated to 4 different non-profit organizations. However, they have not chosen randomly. That is why they choose organizations that speak to their hearts. This includes two Sierra Leone organizations, one English organization, an American and a Somalian one. All organizations work for education and justice.
Besides, 200 worldwide personalities teamed up with the collection to relay the campaign. There is soccer player, Aubameyang, British actress Cynthia Erivo. Also, French Activist Assa Traoré is still waiting for the justice of her little brother’s death, Adama Traoré. Here is a part of what she shared on Instagram:
