Brooklyn is Wingin’ It!
On August 19th, Brooklyn natives Andre and Larry graced Brooklyn with its very first Black-Owned wing spot. Brooklyn Wing House, located at 1218 Union Street, made its début, providing wings and other savory foods for Crown Heights residents.

“[Brooklyn Wing House] came about because I felt like there weren’t any good wing spots in Brooklyn,” says Co-Owner, Larry. “Every time my friends and I went out for wings, we felt like it lacked spunk, that special kick.”
The Brooklyn Wing House has plenty of signature dishes, ranging from sweet and savory. “We’re expecting the Notorious B.I.G Catfish Sandwich to do extremely well,” Larry explains. Wing House flavors include Smoked BBQ, Sweet Chilli Rum Glaze, Pineapple Teriyaki and Mango Ciroc Infused Habanero. The variety of options include wings, of course, salads, chicken & waffles, empanadas, seafood and waffle cones for customers with a sweet tooth.

“I don’t think that there are enough Black-Owned Businesses in our community.” Larry chimed in. “My friend Andre and I saw this spot and we thought everything about it was perfect – the location, the neighborhood. There’s a constant change in Brooklyn and we need to support each other.”
The opening day consisted of major networking, including Pix 11 news and singer Ashanti stopping by to eat a few wings. Brooklyn Wing House is officially open for business and we are wishing them the best.
