A Legacy of Inclusion and Innovation
Appointed in 2017, Enninful quickly made his mark by featuring a diverse array of cover stars, including Adwoa Aboah, Beyoncé, and Judi Dench. He championed underrepresented voices, spotlighting activists, frontline workers, and individuals with disabilities. His tenure saw British Vogue’s digital traffic increase by 51%. It also brought the addition of 140 new advertisers, all while maintaining a full publishing schedule during the pandemic.

Chioma Nnadi: A New Chapter
Succeeding Enninful is Chioma Nnadi, who assumed the role of head of editorial content on October 9, 2023. A London-born journalist with Nigerian and Swiss-German heritage, Nnadi brings a fresh perspective shaped by her experience at Vogue’s U.S. website. Her appointment marks the first time a Black woman leads British Vogue, signaling a continued commitment to diversity and innovation.
Nnadi’s debut issue featured FKA twigs on the cover. This reflected her background in music journalism and her focus on contemporary culture.
