Fresh styles are waiting for you at the terminal with Uniqlo!
Uniqlo retailers launched back in 2005, hitting the retail industry with fresh, clean and modern fashion styles for all ages. In 2016, Uniqlo had a yearly revenue of $532.8 billion yen, which converts to roughly four billion United States dollars.
The Japanese retailer is set to launch the new vending machines in ten locations across the United States, including malls and airports. The vending machines are set to be called “Uniqlo to Go” and will vend two of the most popular items from the brand’s Lifewear collection. A thermal heat-tech sweatshirt, perfect for those chilly airport terminals, or air conditioned malls, starting at $14.99. Also, it will have lightweight down jackets starting at $69.99. You know, just in case you lose a jacket.
Confirmed locations of the vending machines include Hollywood & Highland Center in Los Angeles, California. In addition, confiremed is Queens Center in New York City. Furthermore, eight more are expected to open up between September and December.
