Canadian rapper Tory Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, was reportedly stabbed by another inmate. The incident occurred at the California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi, where he is serving a 10-year sentence for the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. She underwent surgery to remove bullet fragments and later obtained a five-year restraining order against Lanez, citing ongoing harassment.
Tory Lanez is eligible for parole in 2029. His legal team has indicated plans to appeal the conviction.
