Who, What, Wear?
Fashion Week is upon us once again and designers are back with chilling new looks for the winter season. To jumpstart the week, American designer Perry Ellis debuted his Fall/Winter 2018 collection on Tuesday. The results? Chillingly breathtaking.
The Looks
Ellis is typically known for creating fresh, eccentric and bold patterns and products for men. His 2016 Spring Collection headlined Vogue, and it looks like that is what they are aiming to do again.
Color blocks and hand painted images for backdrops, along with the festive history of the venue, the New York City Hippodrome helped provide a clean, chic and “Circus Sideshow” by George Seurat depiction runway.

Behind the Runway
Creative Director Michael Maccari “loosened up the styling of the collection to reflect go-forward daily needs of the Perry Ellis man preparing him to go at the day in a variety of ways.” according to a statement made by the Ellis team. Puffers, vests, anoraks and other winter essentials were layered with stretch trousers to provide a comfortable but stylish and warm look.
The Finished Product
Needless to say, Perry Ellis has done it again by creating dapper and dashing looks for men, proving that style can be comfortable and warm as well. Not to mention the guest appearances of 21 Savage, Marc. E. Bassey and a fabulous runway walk from Ru Paul’s Drag Race contestant, Daniel ‘Milk’ Donigan. After a successful runway, Ellis definitely made our MEF Headline.
