It has been four years since his last album, but Eminem has now fully made a return to rap with his new single “Walk On Water” featuring Beyoncé.
The introspective song, which was produced by Rick Rubin and co-produced by Skylar Gray, begins with ‘Yoncé’s angelic vocals over a piano-laden track. “I walk on water, but I ain’t no Jesus,” sings Bey. “I walk on water, but only when it freezes.”
From there, a vulnerable Em reflects on his drug addiction and expectations.
This is only the first taste of what we can expect from Em’s upcoming album. He is slated to perform on SLN next week, November 18.
