Poor Michelle? Girl Bye! Singer Michelle Williams has never missed a bridge or a look. The former Destiny’s Child singer has continuously evolved her style. Williams is an underrated fashion girl whose style moments must be studied more. Williams never half-steps when it comes to her fits, which is why she deserves to be on every best-dressed list.
As the singer prepares to celebrate another trip around the sun on July 23, we expect to see even more gag-worthy looks from this Leo queen. In honor of her birthday, we are counting down five of Michelle Williams’ best style moments.
1. She devoured at the premiere of Beyoncé’s Renaissance film.
Williams did not come to play when she stepped out to the premiere of Beyoncé’s Renaissance film in November 2023. She donned a stunning Bishme Cromartie design. The all-black street-garde look was one of the best fits of the night, as it was the right amount of edgy and sexy. She sealed the look with vamp-like glam, complete with dramatic lashes. Her long jet-black hair was the perfect compliment to the ensemble.
2. She was dripping in gold.
Williams again turned heads as she slayed in a gold Albina Dyla Couture gown for the Urban One Honors January 2024. The singer looked breathtaking as she dazzled for all the world to see. She rocked the intricate gown as she presented Chloe Bailey with the Next Generation Award. This was one of the best looks of the night and deserves to be on our list of Michelle Williams’ best style moments.
3. Michelle Williams gives royalty on the gram.
In December 2023, Williams posed for the gram in a sultry and chic Terry Costa Prom dress. The navy blue velvet gown gave the singer an heir of regality. She completed the look with long gloves, statement earrings, and a dramatic ponytail fit for a queen. It’s unknown where Williams was heading, but this dress deserved a red carpet moment. Perhaps this shoot was just the fashionista showing off, but we aren’t mad at it.
4. She’s a vision in red.
In February 2024, Williams went to support her bestie Kelly Rowland at the NYC premiere of her Netflix film “Mea Culpa.” Williams was a goddess in a custom red two-piece set designed by Anthony Lattimore. The set featured a mock neck crop top with dramatic sleeves that flared out and matching pants. The ensemble was the perfect look to wear to see the risqué thriller.
5. She’s a beauty in royal blue.
Undoubtedly, one of Williams’ best style moments was when the singer shut it down in this bold royal blue fit. The “Say My Name” crooner posed in a stairwell as she donned the intricate crochet look by “Project Runway” star Coral Costilllo. The design on Williams is a work of art, from the crisscrossed bodice to the cutouts at the waist. Adding more flare to the dress is the matching fringe-style cape that took the look to the next level. She topped it off with matching thigh-high suede boots, her go-to buss down middle part, and sexy glam makeup.
Michelle Williams is an undeniable fashion girl. She pushes boundaries, experiments with colors, and takes risks. As she steps into another year this month, we can’t wait to see her in some new looks.
