MEFeater ImpactHub is making dreams a reality for the next generation of creatives! As part of its ongoing mission to empower and uplift young talent, MEFeater welcomed seven students from Maxwell High School to intern at its Galentine’s NYFW Show, giving them an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the fashion and media industry in action.
Immersed in the Industry: Learning from Top Professionals
The Maxwell High School interns didn’t just observe—they rolled up their sleeves and got to work. They assisted industry professionals across various departments, diving headfirst into the action. Under the guidance of celebrity stylists, makeup artists, and beauty teams, the students experienced the fast-paced world of backstage prep. They played a key role in helping perfect the runway-ready looks for MEFeater’s Galentine’s Show.

From steaming garments and coordinating wardrobe changes to ensuring models looked flawless before hitting the runway, these young creatives did it all. They gained firsthand exposure to the precision, artistry, and teamwork it takes to bring a fashion show to life.
Capturing the Moment: Creative Department Experience
Beyond styling and beauty, the interns also got to work with MEFeater’s Creative Department. They assisted the photographers and videographers responsible for capturing the magic of the night. Learning from industry professionals, students helped with shot setups, lighting adjustments, and behind-the-scenes content creation. This experience gave them a real-world introduction to fashion media production.
As they worked alongside MEFeater’s expert creative team, these interns witnessed firsthand how storytelling through photography and videography brings an event to life. They saw how visual narratives play a crucial role in shaping the story of a fashion event.
