Rihanna has officially surpassed the King of Pop Michael Jackson in Top 10 hits.
The songstress now has 30 to Michael Jackson’s 29 top 10’s. This does not include any songs by the Jackson 5, only Jackson as a solo artist.
Pon De Replay was Rihanna’s first song to hit the chart back in 2005 and from there the rest was history. Love on the Brain 3rd single off Rihanna’s latest album Anti was at No. 13 last week on the Billboard Hot 100. Now, Love on the Brain is currently at No. 8 on the charts and gave the Bajan singer her 30th top 10 hit.
Rihanna is the second fastest to reach this goal taking her 10 years and seven months. She falls right in line with legendary musicians like Madonna with 38 followed by The Beatles with 34.
Some of Rihanna’s top 10’s that helped her reach this milestone include Work, Needed Me, Don’t Stop the Music, SOS, We Found Love and Umbrella.
