Unicorn fans will soon be able to see their idol on the big screen.
Actress and songwriter Justine Skye has just landed her first major role. Skye will star in the upcoming film Green Dolphin, written and directed by Chris Kenneally. Â Skye will play a 20-year-old, woman named Keesha. Keesha is one of the two girls, who is running across country away from their abusive foster parents.
The Brooklyn native will co-star next to Tyler Dean Flores as the central characters in the film.
“I could not be more pleased to have Justine and Tyler on board to bring our central characters, Keesha and Robinson, to life on film,” Kenneally told Hollywood Reporter. “They are remarkably gifted, rising talents. And I can’t wait to see them work opposite Seann William Scott, whose challenging role allows him to show off his dramatic chops.
Even though Justine Skye has this new movie in the works, the singer still has other projects in the works. She recently released her EP 8 Ounces and new single Back for More featuring Jeremih, which is resurrecting her singing! Skye even held a listening party for her new single on July 23rd.
Justine has also been dipping her feet in the fashion industry, recently doing ad campaigns for Vogue, Forever 21 and MAC Cosmetics.
Hopefully, fans can expect to see Green Dolphin in theatres in 2018.
