Compared to her other works, Caprisongs focuses on a more r&b, contemporary pop, and trip-hop sound than Twigs‘ usual electronic sound. Songs like “lightbeamers” and “oh my love” are the perfect high-strung self-love songs for those going through a breakup. Songs like “Honda” and “Papi Bone” show a Caribbean influence that’ll have listeners raving and whining to the beat. Caprisongs is full of bops that are sure to evoke every emotion that listeners are feeling while reassuring them they are capable of getting through life’s problems. We can all learn something from FKA Twigs and her journey back into self-love.
