A breakup is one of the toughest and most heartbreaking processes in human relations and romantic relationships. When we eventually fall in love, it is usually with someone we consider an ideal partner, someone who becomes our best friend and closest companion. Their lives become intertwined with ours, and without us noticing, they become such a huge part of our lives. This kind of relationship makes it challenging to deal with conflict. It becomes quite awkward and tense quickly, and over time, some issues cannot be resolved due to each individual’s feelings and reasons. This, to married couples, leads to divorce; to single daters, it’s breakups. As sad as it is to comprehend, breakups and divorce are an everyday reality, and since the pandemic hit, we’ve seen a rise in divorce and breakup rates.
