At your best you are love…
Are you singing along with New New? ATL was based on a young man, Rashad, growing up as a teen balancing his social life and protecting his brother. However, it was the romance that captured our hearts. The tale of New New and Rashad will always be a classic. This movie takes us back to the time we met our first little crush at a skating rink or arcade center. Reminisce the story on V-Day with your favorite person.

Love & Basketball
Speaking of basketball, is Maxwell’s “A Woman’s Worth” the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the phrase Love & Basketball? This classic took us on the highs and lows with Q and Monica. From grade school to college, we always knew the two belong together and their love for basketball finally showed them just that. Relive the timeless moments in Love & Basketball with your loved one.

Reality High
We rarely see a cute teen black love story so we had to put this on the list! Switch up the vibes and watch Netflix’s Reality High. This is a very witty film about a young girl dealing with high school drama – giving us real Mean Girls. At the height of it all, she finds herself falling for one of the hottest guys in her school. Keith Powers and Nesta Cooper both star in this sweet romantic comedy. *Stream On Netflix Only
Nobody’s Fool
The beautiful Tika Sumpter and Omari Hardwick star in Tyler Perry’s romantic-comedy Nobody’s Fool. Not only was this movie very funny but it was very romantic in so many ways. Danica (Sumpter) went from being possibly catfished to almost losing the love of her life. Nobody’s Fool is a grown and sexy romance story with a message – bringing “candlelit dinner and a movie” vibes.

The Photograph
A simple story of black love was beautiful to see! The Photograph gave us butterflies as we fell in love with two black professionals finding love without looking. Our favorites – Issa Rae and LaKeith Stanfield were able to reel us into a story from the past and present. Grab some snacks, get settled in with your boo, and enjoy this story of love.
