The Weeknd has joined the likes of Rihanna, Big Sean, and more as a part of the Puma family. He has been a “Puma ambassador” for over a year, but now he is a shoe designer as well. The Weeknd’s first sneaker is called the Puma Parallel. He wants to see everyone in his shoe, and by everyone, he means the everyday person, Barak Obama, and even The Pope!
The sneaker has military and skate influences with a flat sole and lace up front. The nearly olive-green suede like material is the new neutral and can fit into any fashionista’s wardrobe. The shoes retail for $220.
While this is The Weeknd’s first shoe design it is not his first step into fashion design. He has been designing through H&M for a while now. The collaboration is called XO, and can still be found in stores.
