Jessie Reyez celebrated her debut performance at the 2018 MTV VMA’s by giving fans some new music.
The Canadian singer/songwriter teamed up with female R&B songstresses, Kehlani and Normani for a new remix to her popular single “Body Count”.
All three women found a connection through “Body Count”, a self-love anthem penned by Reyez and released earlier this year with an official video that received much praise. Both the song and the video are an homage to Reyez’s outspoken stance that we should all get to “love who we wanna love” and feel empowered by that.
In between opening for Halsey in North America and hitting major festivals such as Lollapalooza and Outside Lands, Reyez is working on her new EP Being Human In Public slated to be released this Fall.
