Internet Gone Too Far: YouTuber Creates Travis Scott Cheating Scandal With Fake Photos

You Can’t Believe Everything You See On The Internet

The internet went into a frenzy on Monday when pictures circulated of what appeared to be Travis Scott groping and whispering in another woman’s ear. The photos were photoshopped with a TMZ watermark, and soon they were spreading across social media like wildfire.

But it Wasn’t Travis Scott.

Meet YouTuber, Christian Adam, the mastermind behind the cheating scandal. According to Christian, he got the idea for the video after seeing Justin Bieber eating a burrito look alike prank on YouTube. Christian had been told before that he looked Travis Scott so he thought “why not?”.

In a 20-minute YouTube video titled, We Fooled the Internet w/ Fake Travis Scott Cheating Photo, Christian details how he pulled off the prank. In the description for the video, Christian simply put, ” Don’t believe everything you see on the internet :)”

And he wasn’t wrong.

In the video, Christian is studying Travis’ clothing style, mannerisms, and even his walk. He wanted to fool the world into thinking he was a celebrity. Once he felt he had the ASTROWORLD star down, Christian enacted phase two: looking like Travis. Christian went to get his hair braided in plats, just like Travis. Then he went to get his plats dyed blonde, just like Travis. After taking over 700 photos, Christian found the one that even fooled himself.

Did He Go Too Far?

Christian claims that the goal of the video was not to hurt anyone, but to see how gullible the internet was. He wanted to prove that most stories seen on the internet aren’t even true, people just like to be entertained for a short moment.
