Beauty company, Glossier of New York, has recently received millions in funding from New York governor, Andrew Cuomo (an unlikely pair we know) in conjunction with Empire State Development.
Glossier received $3 million in performance-based tax credits to grow their brand and expand. The company will be moving it’s headquarters to an office at One Soho Square, and best of all this endorsement will help create nearly three hundred jobs through their Excelsior Jobs Program. 
Since their start in 2014, Glossier has accumulated forty million in venture capital funding. For a company that began as a simple beauty blog that is pretty amazing. They are working out kinks and improving every day, and we love to see fellow New York businesses thriving!
