Dolce and Gabbana Enlists the Help of Celebs during Milan Fashion Week

Runway shows rarely get attention from young people who are non-fashionistas, unless it’s a brand or model they know. Dolce and Gabbana, like many other brands, have been searching for a way to connect with the new generation of shoppers for some time. The Fashion Brand accomplished that with the marketing of their latest fashion show in Milan. They’ve defiantly got the attention of Generation X and Y.

With Generation X deemed the ‘Social Media’ generation, many designers have started to use Social Media to connect with them. Fashion Brands showcase their work from their fashion shows on platforms such as Instagram and Twitter to engage Millennials. Along with Social Media, brands have also enlisted young, cool stars of the generation to walk their runways during Fashion Week. Last Saturday at the Dolce and Gabbana Men’s runway show in Milan featured many young social media stars as models for the night.

After pictures from the fashion show started popping up on Twitter feeds worldwide, Dolce and Gabbana finally got the attention that they have wanted from young
people.

With the theme of the collection they were showcasing being ‘Royalty,’ which would go suitable with the line-up of influential millennial’s as well as the regal, and fancy design aesthetic the clothing brand was going for with this collection, you can say Dolce and Gabbana won our generations hearts.
