DBN Gogo, Kelvin Momo, Burna Boy, Rema, Wizkid & More African Stars Take Afro Nation Miami

In just under two months, Afro Nation will be heading to Miami, FL, for the first festival in the continental US. In an already heated lineup, the festival has added Nigerian star Fireboy DML, Jamaican dancehall icon Mavado, and Panamanian singer Sech. The lineup was already headlined by heavyweights like Burna Boy, Wiz Kid, Rema, Askae, Beenie Man, and more. The festival has also added artists like DBN Gogo and Kelvin Momo to their Piano People stage, shining a special spotlight on the ascendant genre and culture of Amapiano, which was established in South Africa.

Afro Nation brought a high-powered group of international music stars and over 40,000 fans to the beaches of Portimáo in July 2022 for the second-ever Afro Nation Portugal, with headliners that included WizKid, Burna Boy, and Megan Thee Stallion. The festival closed out the year 2022, with Afro Nation Ghana (Accra) in December. This was Afro-Nation’s first event in Ghana since 2019.

The innovative festival made its North American debut with Afro Nation Puerto Rico earlier in the year.

The upcoming Afro Nation Miami 2023 follows up a groundbreaking 2022 from previous Afro Nation events. Since its start in 2019, the music festival has become a major tastemaker and champion for African music.
