Beyoncé began the Renaissance World Tour in early May and has been slaying since day one. She began in Stockholm and has continued to raise the bar all over Europe. Fans adore the videos and photos that have emerged but speculate that the U.S. tour may be a little different. In less than a month, Beyoncé will take the American stage for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic began. Beyoncé and her team are well-known for keeping a tight lid on details for their projects. So virtually nothing is known about what to expect next, although that doesn’t keep fans from guessing.

Her seventh solo studio album, Renaissance, took the world by storm last summer. Almost a year later, people are still talking about it. The album was dedicated to her late uncle/godfather, Johnny, who passed away from complications of AIDS. With him in mind, Beyoncé jumped into familiar genres like disco, electronic, and house for inspiration. The album charted at #1 upon release and even broke the Spotify record for most streams in a day by a female artist. And… she did it all without visuals.

But… Are the Visuals Coming?

Not long after the release of Renaissance, Beyoncé teased what seemed to be completed visuals to match the album. Along with her unmatched talent, the queen is known for her visual components and has been consistent in releasing them along with the album. With her self-titled album, Lemonade and Black is King as her latest visual works, the Beyhive expected nothing less for her newest album. But it’s been nine months since the album was released, and the teaser is all the fans have gotten.

During her first show in Stockholm, Beyoncé lets her fans know that she hears them asking for the visuals, but she moves at her own pace because she is the queen. Is it possible that we may see them once she begins the American leg of her tour? Beyoncé proves to be methodical and intentional, but she has stated that with this album, she wanted to free herself of perfection and just do what feels right. Somehow, that makes the surprise even better.

Many fans are in the process of securing their outfits and bedazzled cowboy hats, but what will the queen be wearing? During this tour, she has continued to prove that she is the queen of versatility. While some of her outfits remain consistent, others are different in every city. Additionally, the queen has opened a flagship store in London. The store contains limited edition merchandise that fans can purchase. On display are the designs that she designed with Balmain’s creative director, Olivier Rousteing.

A Beyoncé Party is Coming

Beyoncé has long been known for her choreography and dance breaks during her performances. Some have remained iconic to this very day. With her ushering in a new era dedicated to Black queer elements, like ballroom culture, fans have been loving the new version of Queen Bey. Club Renaissance started off as a secretive party for celebrities and the elite, then moved to a full section for ticket holders, upholding the idea that this tour is one big party. As mentioned before, Beyoncé wanted this album to be a freeing experience. What is more freeing than hanging out with your best pals at a Beyoncé party concert?

The Beyhive has been counting down the days to this tour, and with her time in the U.S. approaching quickly, ticket holders and fans alike want to know what she is going to do next. With Beyoncé, we can never guess correctly, and we surely cannot assume, but we know for a fact she will never disappoint.
