7 Therapy Resources For Mental Health Awareness Month

As we continue to uplift Mental Health Awareness this month, we’re sharing a list of therapy and mental health resources made with Black women in mind. Finding a therapist and other resources can be challenging and even daunting, so we want to offer support and encouragement. No one in this life does it alone. Whether your concerns are affordability or finding a therapist or a program that understands your reality, we have options for you!

Therapy for Black Girls

“To be seen, to be heard, to be understood… So often the stigma surrounding mental health issues and therapy prevents Black women from taking the step of seeing a therapist. This was developed to present mental health topics in a way that feels more accessible and relevant.” -Therapy for Black girls

Better Help

“Making professional counseling accessible, affordable, convenient so anyone who struggles with life’s challenges can get help, anytime, anywhere.” –Betterhelp
