Coming off Wonder Woman’s success at the box office this summer. Warner Bros. has officially confirmed that a Wonder Woman 2 is officially in the works!
The announcement was made during the studio’s Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
The original, which opened just a month ago, is already the third biggest Warner Bros. movie of all time, behind only The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises. The film is also the highest-grossing live action film from a female director (Patty Jenkins).
Gal Gadot, announced that she will be returning as Wonder Woman for the sequel. Although, the director, Patty Jenkins has yet to announce if she will be aboard the project. Gadot will next appear in Justice League, alongside Ben Affleck’s Batman, Jason Momoa’s Aquaman, Ezra Miller’s Flash and Ray Fisher’s Cyborg as the DC superhero dream team.
You can expect Wonder Woman 2 to be out in theaters on December 13, 2019.
