Young Willow Smith seems to be all grown up in her spread for Vogue Paris. These daring black and white images are breathtaking. It is no wonder they were captured by the geniuses behind The Now People. Photography geniuses Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin use a very simple background to make the clothes, and Willow, stand out.
When it comes to the styling, it shouldn’t work but it does. With willow being only sixteen years old, the clothes could seem too mature for her, but she pulls it off. The mixture of dark, mature clothes with her modern piercings and fresh face make for a very interesting fashion story. Who would have thought the girl who brought us “I whip my hair back and forth” would also bring us this only six years later? She defiantly brought it! Because of the combination of compelling styling, Inez and Vinooh’s photography, and Willow’s modeling Vogue Paris’s December 2016/ January 2017 edition will be one to look out for.
