This past Monday was International Pi-Day, so you know we had to show some love to our favorite black bakers. Instagram and Tik Tok are probably some of the greatest creations but for people who need some tips on cooking, these apps are definitely a Godsend. Without some of the names we’re about to mention, who knows where the future of our sweet tooth would lie? Here are five of our favorite Black Bakers on the Internet.

1. Kardea Brown

Everyone say “Thank you, Miss Brown”. Apart from, being a wonderful chef, Kardea Brown is a top-notch baker. From tasty sweets such as Lotus Biscoffus Cheesecake to creamy Panna Cotta; this woman can do no wrong! Nevertheless, if you want to try out one of her recipes yourself, we suggest going for her Strawberry Pretzel Pie, it will definitely be a hit!

2. GrandBabyCakes

What did Rihanna say? “He want that Cake, cake, cake, cake”. But seriously, who doesn’t love cake? Even if you’re a pie-lover, Jocelyn Delk Adams aka Grand Baby Cakes is here to help cure that sweet tooth. From chocolate poundcake to New Orleans Beignets and Italian Cream Cake (cue Chloe’s Have Mercy), she has all the sweets to make your stomach sing praises to heaven. However, one beautiful recipe you should try is her Grandbaby White Cake.

3. Archdalebakery

We love a baker who isn’t only passionate about what they do but is fun to watch too. Undoubtedly, with her bubbly personality and yummy treats, Monica J Moyer should be on your go-to list of black bakers. Her recipes push past regular treats as she takes baking into a unique form by combining different flavors. One of our favorite treats is her Strawberry Pecan Loaf. And yes it is just as good as it sounds!

4. Zzzlicioustreats

Zzlicious indeed! She goes by the Bundt Buddy but don’t get it twisted, she can make more than just bundt cake! From Pecan Cinnamon Toast Crunch Coffee Cake to the popular king cake, this baker takes her childhood classics and makes them into a completely different world. One of our favorites that we suggest you try is her Banana Bundt Cake recipe!

5. CakesbyTamarra

Are you looking into making cakes that look like art? Or maybe you want to try making one that resembles a cheeseburger? Whichever angle you’re going for Tamarra has the guidebook for you! For the non-bakers she has a simple DIY Strawberry Crunch cheesecake dessert cup, that will be sure to steal your heart!
