WATCH: “Land of the Free” Joey Badass Music Video!

Rap lovers will soon have much to discuss when the new Joey Badass album drops. All-Amerikkkan Bada$$  is a title that sparks ideas of political commentary and the concept of the American dream. It is a bold name, and if it is anything like the “Land of the Free” music video, we should expect the rest of the tracks to be loudly expressive of social issues in the United States.

The “Land of the Free” music video was released on Monday. Similar to the recent hit film “Get Out”, this video is worth watching over and over. The visuals are symbolic and mesmerizing. If you only watch it once, you might miss something. The video is even more impressive, considering Joey Badass himself co-directed it. It is artistically done, and provokes thought about the political state of our country. From police brutality to the struggle of everyday African-Americans, this song discusses it all.

Mefeater rates this video a 10 out of 10, for its hard-hitting imagery and lyrical aggression. With lines like “Obama just wasn’t enough, I need some more closure / And Donald Trump is not equipped to take this country over,” the song is sure to be a hit. All-Amerikkkan Bada$$  is set for an April 7th release, and the day can’t come soon enough.
