Viola Davis continues to dominate Hollywood!
The renowned actress and producer is being honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at the top of the new year. Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez remarked, “Viola is one of the actresses who always mesmerize fans with her talent. She is amazing and we are thrilled that she will grace our world-famous Hollywood Walk of Fame.” Viola will be the first person to receive a star for 2017. The ceremony will take place on January 5, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at 7013 Hollywood Boulevard and will also be live streamed on WalkofFame.com!
Davis will add a Hollywood star to her long list of acting accolades, most recently earning nominations from a slew of organizations for her upcoming role in “Fences” which opens worldwide on December 25.
This woman has been dominating! She’s won an Emmy for her starring role in ABC’s “How to Get Away With Murder,” two Tony Awards for her characters in Broadway’s “Fences” and “King Hedley II.” She also has a collection of SAG, Critics Choice, People’s Choice and Drama Desk awards.
Her hard work has definitely been paying off. Congratulations Viola!
