Tyrese Gibson aka “Jody” took to Instagram to announce that a Baby Boy sequel is allegedly in the works. Although no other details on the film’s sequel has been publicly announced by anyone else. What other reason would Tyrese have to play with the culture like that???
“Baby Boy” was written and directed by John Singleton, based on 20-year-old Jody (Tyrese Gibson) father of two who struggles to maintain a job while living in his mother’s house.
The film debuted back in 2001, which co-starred Academy Award nominate Taraji P Henson, rapper Snoop Dogg and actor Omar Gooding.
It shall be interesting to see the lives of these characters play out. Especially if it’s the same exact casting members. Looking forwards to hearing and seeing more about “Baby Boy 2: Coming Of Age.”
